CROCE E DELIZIA

Ho amato Parigi con tutta me stessa ma il  sole e l'amore che Roma soltanto, per me possiede, mi erano mancati. Città mia, croce e delizia.

E' stato bello ritornare e passeggiare dopo tanto tempo per  i posti dove sono cresciuta. Ripassare davanti quello stesso negozio dove ho incontrato per la prima volta Patrizio, e girarmi e vederlo adesso al mio fianco, con la sua mano intrecciata alla mia. Via del Corso è ancora oggi piena di ragazzi: c'è chi è seduto su un gradino ,chi sotto una delle chiese gemelle, chi dal Pincio arriva giù in Risciò rischiando ogni tanto di travolgere qualche turista, la fila in gelateria, le confidenze tra amiche...

Arriviamo fino al Colosseo, passando per Piazza di Spagna dove ci sembra di vedere visi di gente che il giorno prima era con noi in aereoporto,Piazza Venezia ed i Fori imperiali, inserendo nel mezzo una pausa supplì! Ho chiuso momentaneamente una piccola parentesi, ma sono felice di stare a vedere cosa accadrà. Con affetto.

It 's been nice to come back and walk around for the places where I grew up. It was fab pass in front of the  same store where I met for the first time Patrizio, and now can turn me  and see him at my side, with his hand intertwined with mine. Via del Corso is still full of guys: someone is sitting on a step, someone else under one of the twin churches, there's who comes down from the Pincio with the Risciò  risking  to overwhelm  some tourists, the queue for buy an ice cream, the confidences between friends ...

Steps by steps we arrived at the Coliseum, passing through Piazza di Spagna, where we had the impression to have see the faces of people who the day before were with us at the airport, Piazza Venezia and the Fori Imperiali, by inserting in the middle a break for eat a Supplì (a kind of rice balls,tipically italian,  very tasty!)

 I have temporarily closed a little digression, but I'm happy to wait and see what will happen. With affection.
